Asmaa Abdallah

Asmaa can be found writing up a storm for all things Hop related, obsessing over proper punctuation and connecting with members of the press. With 12 years of communications and journalism experience under her belt, she has worked at German Development Cooperation in Egypt (GIZ), Pro Helvetia Cairo – the Swiss Arts Council, and as a freelance writer, digital storyteller and translator. Since 2013, she has also been promoting and contextualizing works by the International Prize for Arabic Fiction authors. Asmaa holds an M.A. in English and Comparative Literature from The American University in Cairo and lives in Norwich.
