Aaron is a musician, teacher and scholar who joined the Hop in 2023. He is currently a PhD candidate in music education at the University of Michigan. Aaron has seven years of classroom experience teaching elementary general music and middle school band, orchestra and general music in the Greater Boston Area. Aaron has presented at music education conferences nationally and internationally. His research interests include community music, creative music making in large ensembles, and activist music making. Aaron is responsible for measuring the impact of Hop events and works to bridge local communities in the Upper Valley to the Hop.
