All materials, necessary tools, and instructions will be sent to you via USPS.*
Participants will not be making finished (fired) projects in Series 1 and 2; instead, the focus will be on experience and skill-building that will serve students well when in a physical studio.
*We apologize, but due to the time required to order materials, we are not able to ship outside the Continental US in a timely manner.

Session 1:
Pinching a form, finding a balance
Thu, Oct 22, 5-6:15 pm ET 

We will make 2 forms, one pinched and the other hollowed and then pinched.

 

Session 2:
Using a mold with coils
Thu, Oct 29, 5-6:15 pm ET 

With a simple small bowl mold, we will build with small coils.

Session 3:
Animating surface & building larger
Thu, Nov 5, 5-6:15 pm ET 

Working with skills developed in previous projects we will build a larger piece with coils and develop surface strategies by burnishing with a polished rock and drawing through slip.
