A radio-play about a multiracial girl with a gift for clairvoyance growing up in rural white 1950's America.

20/21 Theater Department

Passionate, lyrical and chock full of down-home humor, Eisa Davis's Bulrusher was a finalist for the 2007 Pulitzer Prize. This radio-play version will be directed by Lexi Warden '21 as an honors thesis project, and it will be streamed live via Zoom webinar.

Bulrusher received its world premiere in 2006 at Urban Stages/Playwrights' Preview Productions in New York. Frances Hill, Artistic Director; Sonia Koslova, Managing Director.
